Starting the home study process. The good thing is, we only have to do an update because we had our original home study, and 5 post placement reports with this social worker. So that means it will not take long to get it DONE! I also have requested all the usual documents, and have everything ready to go asap! Still not sure if we are going to sign on with an agency, or do this independently. Really don't want to spend a ton of money when we don't even know if we will get to adopt Hanna.
There are so many orphans in the world, so WHY must we fight over this one child?... a child that has been in our home, a part of our family, a child that I wanted from the beginning, a child that wants to be a part of OUR family! I know that God would not have changed Josh's heart without good reason! I really, truly KNOW in my hear that Hanna is our daughter. I pray that this other family will step out of the way and allow her to come to us. I know that they have sent her letters, prayed for her, and felt that she could be part of their family, but NONE of that replaces the personal relationship that we have already built. They have another girl coming to their home this summer as a host child (this is the sibling to the boy they just adopted), so I pray that they will decide to focus on HER, not Hanna - and just let our daughter come home to us!
I want all 4 of our children here in our home, I pray that my mom is around to see Hanna come home to our family! I have never seen her so emotional about anything!
